Wildcat Football Camp

Cayden went to his first sports camp this summer. One of the football coaches came to his school in the spring and told them about this camp and Cayden came home saying he HAD to go. I think this coach missed his calling and should be in sales somewhere! Well, the camp was only from 8:00-9:00 each morning and was only $20- and that included a t-shirt. The camp he attended was for kids entering 1st grade through 4th grade. He was one of only about 7 first graders at the camp but had a really good time. During the drills he looked more like a basketball player or a runner- which is fine with me. Here are a few shots of him from the last two days of camp.

Leading exercises and sporting his new camp shirt.

Each morning they would "exercise" as the coach called it. It was a lot of clapping, yelling, and a little stretching. When Scott asked him what he learned the first day he answered, "Huh."

Attempting to kick a field goal. He looked a little more like a soccer player than a football player! (Again, okay with me as long as he doesn't get wild soccer player hair.)
