3:20pm - We just recieved the call from my mother-in-law. Erica's dad, Roger Smith, passed away. Erica, who had come home briefly to get some much needed sleep has returned to the nursing home to comfort and assist in arrangements. Keep us in your prayers.
Thank You,
Scott

I am so sorry to hear Erica's dad has finally passed away. But, thankful he is not suffering any longer and that Retta and the others can get some much needed rest and peace. Our love and prayers will be with you all during the next few days especially.
We are deeply saddened by the death of Eric'a dad. We are thankful, however, his suffering has come to an end. God bless you two, Erica's mom and the entire family. It pains us that we will not be able to hold you close physically over the next several days. Please know however, you will not be far from our thoughts and constantly in our prayers. What a year for the Meyers family! We love you, Cayden, Cooper and Cutter. Can't wait to hug all of you....James & Barbara
Scott, Erica and kiddos:
We love you and our hearts ache with you and for you during this time. You are being lifted up in prayer to our Heavenly Father.

We're so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. You and the rest of the family are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sadness. Please don't hesitate to call if you need anything at all. We love you guys.

Your family is in our prayers. It is never easy to lose a loved one! Love, Perry, Angela & Briannah
You all are in God's care and keeping. Please know that we love you and are keeping you in our prayers. Erica, it is difficult to lose a father but we think it is more difficult to watch as a father suffers. We watched our dads suffer and die just a little each day. We pray that you all can get some much needed rest. We will be anxious to see you and give you a big hug and some TLC from your familly here. Love you all, Larry and Marie
